Terms & Conditions – Kinetic School of Performing Arts
By enrolling your child with Kinetic School of Performing Arts, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) which form an ongoing agreement between you and Kinetic School of Performing Arts (“Kinetic”, “we”, “our”, “us”).
This agreement is made between the parent or legal guardian (“Parent”, “you”, “your”) and Kinetic in relation to each enrolled student (“Student”). It remains valid for the duration of the Student’s participation in any Kinetic activity, unless terminated in accordance with these Terms.
1. Introduction
1.1 These Terms apply to all classes, courses, holiday camps, workshops, and any additional services offered by Kinetic (collectively referred to as “Kinetic Activities”).
1.2 Enrolment in any Kinetic Activity requires acceptance of these Terms, either by signing a form or confirming acceptance via an online booking system. These Terms may be updated periodically.
1.3 Any amendments to these Terms must be agreed in writing by Kinetic.
1.4 A “Course” refers to structured weekly classes in dance, drama, and/or singing delivered across a set term.
1.5 “Holiday Camps/Workshops” are short-term programmes delivered during school holidays.
1.6 “Principal” refers to the lead teacher or director of a Kinetic location.
1.7 A “Term” refers to a standard teaching period within the academic year.
1.8 “Term Dates” are the scheduled dates for each term.
1.9 A “Workshop” refers to a short course running between one and five consecutive days.
1.10 “Online Sessions” refer to live or recorded virtual classes where applicable.
2. Enrolment
2.1 To secure a place, Parents must complete an enrolment form and agree to these Terms.
2.2 Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and require a deposit payment to confirm booking.
2.3 If a class is full, Students may be placed on a waiting list. Deposit arrangements for waiting lists will be clearly communicated.
2.4 A 14-day cancellation period applies from the date of booking.
2.5 After this period, deposits are non-refundable.
2.6 If a course begins within the cancellation period and is attended, refunds may be adjusted proportionally.
2.7 Full details of fees, schedules, and term dates will be provided upon confirmation of enrolment.
2.8 Fees may vary depending on location and programme.
3. Payments
3.1 Full payment is required in advance for workshops and short courses.
3.2 For term courses, a deposit is followed by a remaining balance (“Balance”).
3.3 The Balance must be paid before the start of term unless otherwise agreed payment options offered.
3.4 Accepted payment methods may include bank transfer, cash, direct debit.
4. Courses
4.1 Kinetic may offer sibling discounts at its discretion where applicable.
4.2 Term dates for upcoming courses will be shared in advance.
4.3 Where sessions fall on public holidays, replacement classes may be arranged.
4.4 Students will automatically be re-enrolled for the following term unless written notice is received before a specified deadline (typically mid-term).
4.5 Failure to provide notice may result in partial fees being charged for the following term.
4.6 If notice is not given Mid – Term / End of the term and a new term has begun we will accept a 4 week notice period which must be paid for.
5. Trial Sessions
5.1 New Students may be offered a short trial period (subject to availability).
5.2 Cancellation during or shortly after the trial may qualify for a refund of any additional fees paid.
5.3 Continued attendance beyond the trial confirms acceptance of the full term commitment.
6. Workshops & Holiday Programmes
6.1 Workshop and holiday programme availability will be communicated in advance.
6.2 Trial sessions and sibling discounts may not apply to these programmes.
6.3 Cancellation within 14 days of the start date may incur partial fees.
6.4 Cancellation within 7 days of the start date may require full payment.
7. Personal Information
7.1 Personal data will be handled in accordance with UK data protection laws and Kinetics’ Privacy Policy.
7.2 Kinetic retains rights to its branding, materials, and any content created within sessions unless otherwise agreed.
8. Health & Safety
8.1 Students participate at their own risk. Any medical conditions must be disclosed at enrolment.
8.2 Parents should seek medical advice if unsure about participation.
8.3 Students must wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
8.4 Emergency contact details must be kept up to date at all times.
8.5 In case of illness or injury, Parents will be contacted using the provided details.
8.6 Online sessions may be recorded for safeguarding and quality purposes.
9. Personal Belongings
9.1 Students are responsible for their own belongings.
9.2 Kinetic accepts no liability for loss or damage.
10. General Terms
10.1 Kinetic reserves the right to refuse entry or remove a Student if behaviour is deemed inappropriate.
10.2 Timetables, venues, and staff may occasionally change due to unforeseen circumstances.
10.3 If sessions are cancelled by Kinetic, alternative arrangements or refunds will be offered where possible.
10.4 Missed sessions due to absence are non-refundable.
10.5 Students must be collected promptly; late collection may incur charges.
10.6 Fees may be reviewed annually.
10.7 These Terms form the full agreement between both parties.
10.8 If any part of these Terms is deemed unenforceable, the remainder will still apply.
10.9 This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
