Youth Academy

Kinetics' Youth Academy rehearses every  Thursday (4-5:30pm) at Rumney Memorial Hall (Wentloog Road, Cardiff)

Youth Academy is for performers 6-13 years of age & is composed of students from many local primary & secondary schools.

 

The Youth Academy is inclusive and open to anyone  (subject to numbers) who are welcome to audition for the next upcoming production

 

Each term students & performers will rehearse and work towards a musical theatre production which is staged in our venue The Atrium Theatre The University of South Wales

 

All Kinetic Staff are fully trained and enhanced CRB checked.

At Kinetic Youth we endeavour to instil the strong foundations of performance and confidence skills by nurturing our performers as we work towards our next production. We choose a variety of shows that will challenge and develop our students in equal measures and that they will enjoy, whilst making friends and memoires for life!

The Youth Academy is open to performers aged 10 plus. We stage two musicals a year and rehearsals run Sept - Feb for the Spring production, Feb - July for the Summer production & April - July for the summer production. Full attendance is required during the rehearsal period to ensure a consistent, high standard that we have become known for. 

In addition to this The Performers will take part in concerts, festivals, events & charitable / fundraising opportunities.
