Kris is a qualified performing arts, drama & dance teacher with over 10 years teaching experience in secondary education & sixth form. In the same time frame in addition to his teaching job Kris regularly works as a freelance director & choreographer in South Wales & Bristol / Bath for companies such as The Egg Theatre Bath (director), Everyman Cardiff, iShine Performing Arts Cardiff / Cwmbran (Choreographer & Director), Travelling Light Youth Theatre & Cue Bristol Youth Theatre (Director & Choreographer). Kris has also been company director for both of Bristol Theatre Train drama schools for the past 9 years where he has directed students in shows at the Royal Albert Hall, the London Palladium, Saddlers Wells Theatre and also London's 02 Arena. Bi annually he writes & directs their local show at the Redgrave Theatre.
Emma has worked as a Music, Performing Arts and Drama teacher in Cardiff for many years. She has both musically directed and directed shows such as Bugsy, Little Shop of Horrors, Annie, We Will Rock You, Hairspray and many more. Emma is head of Performing Arts at Eastern High and has been a teacher here in Cardiff for over ten years, she returned to Cardiff to teach after a few years of travelling. She has been part of the kinetic team from its founding year.
Emma is proud to work alongside Kris and Liz at Kinetic, whose passion and energy for kinetic, allows this company to go from strength to strength. There is no closer team than the kinetic powers! Words cannot express the honour and pleasure felt working alongside such amazing, dedicated team members and talented youngsters.
Emma is passionate about the work Kinetic does and the opportunities it provides youngsters from every area of Cardiff and to a wide range of performers. Kinetic displays the true talent of the stars of the future and each show is the culmination of a challenging and demanding journey.
Liz has worked as Director of Music at St David's Catholic College for three years where she has been Musical Director of two shows - Fame and Ghost. In addition to this she conducts and coordinated the annual carol service events & other musical activities throughout the College. Liz has a long standing history in musical leadership and education and brings both these skills to the mix here at Kinetic
Liz joined the creative team at Kinetic in 2014 and cannot believe how many shows she has worked on in that short space of time.
Production Credits include: Spring Awakening, Beauty and the Beast, Kinetic 2YO, Grease, Cats, Wonderfully Weird and Fame. For Liz, there is nothing more important than creativity, making music and helping young people develop and grow. She loves working with such talented young actors and singers and with a fabulous creative team and is constantly inspired by their dynamic and energetic approach to life.
